Welcome to Forum 2011 presented by the Information Processing Management Association (IPMA).  Forum 2011 will be filled with proposals for innovative solutions, cooperative efforts, and requests for active involvement in changing how we all use technology.  It will be filled with technology and business challenges as well as dramatic changes especially in how we maximize the use and value of our existing systems.  Forum 2011’s program tracks are focused on highlighting and presenting valuable information about how to meet the challenges that are facing us in 2011.  The Forum’s events are centered on enabling topics such as:  security and threat countermeasures, the Internet of the Future, unified communications, mobile commuting, HTML 5.0, project sponsorship, business intelligence, change management, and IT transformation in state IT governance.  Tuesday’s keynote speaker will discuss Microsoft’s roadmap for future application tools.  Wednesday’s keynote speaker will address changes in the state’s IT environment.

Be sure to check out the Forum 2011 sessions on this web site. Please stop by and visit our Forum corporate members and vendors and the IPMA booth while at the Forum.  Let us know what you think of this year’s event format.  Remember, the Forum is the centerpiece of a year-long effort by the IPMA to provide you and your colleagues with educational and networking opportunities.  On the IPMA web site, please leave your comments on events you would like to see or suggestions on how we can improve.   Again, thank you for supporting your IPMA.
