1:30 pm        WA state Revenue Forecast -  Steve Lerch, Executive Director, will provide an update on the U.S. and Washington economies. He will also review the most recently adopted revenue forecast and current tax collections. (Steve Lerch's presentation) (pdf)

3:30 pm        Dept. of Enterprise Services - Dawn Tatman, CIO and Debbie Hoxit, Deputy CIO,will discuss the consolidation of 5 agencies into DES and plans for Statewide Enterprise Applications. (Note: No slides were presented on this topic.)

8:30 am        IT Financial Management (ITFM) – A Panel of Sue Langen, DSHS, Dawn Tatman, DES and Rob St John, CTS.  The speakers will discuss their experiences and lessons learned from the early adopters of Apptio. (Note: No slides were presented on this topic.)

10:30 am      Strategic Direction for Mobile Applications - Mark Delaplane, LNI,will present an overview of the Mobile Enterprise Application (MEAP) proof-of-concept (PoC) L&I has been conducting to validate the latest mobile technology and establish the agency’s mobile strategic direction. 1:30 pm       Contracting/procurement what’s new! Servando Patlan is the Procurement Reform & Outreach Manager at the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services. (Servando Patlan's presentation) (pdf)

3:30 pm        Cloud Services - Dean Iacovelli, Microsoft and Mark Ryland, Amazon Web Services will present on cloud services and how to evaluate change, workloads and service models. The discussion will continue with a practical look of how cloud vendors have been helping State and Local Governments. (Note: Slides to be provided here soon.)

8:30 am       Future of the state and local government CIO/leader - Gartner Speaker - John McNaughton, vice president and executive partner with Gartner Executive Programs. He counsels CIOs and senior IT executives in the public sector and possesses more than 25 years of technology and operations management experience. (John McNaughton's presentation) (pdf)

10:30 am       Statewide IT status - Bharat Shyam, WA State CIO and Rob St John, Director, Consolidated Technology Services will lead an open ended, interactive discussion on challenges facing IT in WA state government. (Note: No slides were presented on this topic.)
